Vocational Testing
Services

The vocational
determination for additional information is made during
an evaluation or interview, specific to the individual's
need. It is requested for a specific assessment of the
individual to make an appropriate vocational
recommendation. The needed testing is discussed with the
referral source.
Testing services
are referred to an appropriate practitioner to evaluate
the following:

- Academic skills:
read, write, math
- Interest
- Temperament
- Intelligence
- Work skill
- Language
comprehension
- Psychological
functioning
- Learning ability,
including learning disability
- Cognitive
ability, generally done as a neuropsychological
evaluation
- Driving test
- Computer skills

- Work-specific
tests: bookkeeping/accounting, blueprint reading, et
al.

abilities, generally done as a Performance-Based
Physical Capacity
- Evaluation or
